Cosmetic

Cosmetic dentistry is the art of creating aesthetically beautiful smiles using the best techniques and treatments to give you the desired result. Here at the Callan Dental Practice, we take a holistic approach to smile design. We first listen to your needs and concerns giving you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like. We feel that it is important that you have as much input as possible about your treatment and fully understand every step of the procedure.

Smile Makeovers

Our expertise in smile makeovers means that we can create the perfect smile for you, using a combination of the latest cosmetic techniques. These include teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, crowns, and cosmetic bonding. Our goal is to create the smile that you want, some patients prefer a more conservative approach and like to maintain a subtle natural looking smile so that the difference is not too dramatic whereas others prefer to have the perfectly aligned dazzling Hollywood smile makeover. No matter what your smile makeover requirements are, here at Callan Dental Practice, we can accommodate your every need.

Cosmetic Bonding

Cosmetic bonding is an inexpensive non-invasive technique which is often used to close gaps between teeth, repair broken or chipped teeth or changing the colour and shape of tooth.

A tooth-coloured dental composite material is applied to the surface of your teeth and is sculpted to give a natural and aesthetically pleasing result. This technique requires a level of artistic skill and all our dentists are highly experienced in the latest bonding techniques.

Broken Teeth

A veneer can make a chipped tooth look intact again. The veneer covers the whole of the front of the tooth with a thicker section replacing the broken part.

Sometimes instead of a veneer, a natural-coloured filling material can be used for minor repairs to front teeth like chipped or broken tooth corners.
